If you have a thing for rock, cigarettes and twins, then you have to listen to the Weeks. After falling in love with their music back in 2008 with Comeback Cadillac I decided, in anticipation of their new release Gutter Gaunt Gangster, to trek down south to Nashville from NYC and watch them play. Although I couldn't have stood out more, I sat in the back of 12th and Porter in a pink collard shirt drinking whiskey neat and loving every minute of the music, skinny jeans, cigarette's and beards. These guys are incredible and although you can hear a little of Caleb's southern twang in some of there lyrics they have a cool new sound and its refreshing. I'd say they're in the Aha Shake Heartbreak phase of their music... hopefully they keep it coming. Please, if you do anything for yourself today check out their album.
